Duties and Functions of KUIKK

Duties of International Affair Center

  1. Coordinating the activities of studies internationalization by compiling and socializing the term of reference, and the activities implementation guide;
  2. Supporting the implementation of international class and studies internationalization at USAKTI by helping to provide visiting professors and guest lecturers, and also monitoring and evaluating the implementation of international class;
  3. Increasing the number of foreign students and guest lecturers visiting USAKTI.
  4. Implementing trainings for USAKTI’s academic community in accelerating the internationalization;
  5. Building cooperation and the activities’ implementation with both domestic and overseas partners;
  6. Compiling a database of cooperation with institutions, both government and private in the country and foreign institutions, and use the data for the benefit of developing cooperation;
  7. Coordinating visits by university and faculty leaders to foreign countries in the context of developing cooperation;
  8. Coordinating welcoming activities for international guests visiting USAKTI;
  9. Creating university profiles in international languages for promotion and introduction to USAKTI abroad;
  10. Disseminating information about opportunities for further study abroad for USAKTI academics

Functions of the International Affair Center

  1. Coordinating and facilitating services for foreign students in the form of introductory to Indonesian culture and language.
  2. Benchmarking the implementation of education at USAKTI with universities abroad for lecturers and education staff.
  3. Developing a system based on information and communication technology to support scholarship, internship, and mobility programs.
  4. Socializing the international scholarship program, assisting the departure of international scholarship recipients, and monitoring and evaluating the implementation of scholarships.

Duties of Cooperation Unit

  1. Facilitating and coordinating cooperation within the University with other institutions at home and abroad.
  2. Periodically preparing and evaluating the Guidelines and Technical Guidelines for Cooperation as well as other materials related to cooperation based on the applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Assisting other Faculties/Institutions/Units within the scope of Usakti in preparing the MoU draft, monitoring the preparation of the MoU draft, evaluating the MoU, and carrying out the process of ratifying the MoU and its derivatives under applicable regulations.
  4. Assisting in the smooth operation of cooperation and monitoring the implementation of cooperation carried out by each Faculty/Institution/Unit at Usakti under the agreed Cooperation Agreement, as well as conducting coordination to obtain input regarding cooperation programs and problems.

Functions of Cooperation Unit

  1. Providing facilities for Faculties/Institutions/Units that will hold collaborations starting from pioneering to signing collaborations
  2. Implementing the coordination and synchronization of work units within the Usakti environment in collaborating with other parties, both at home and abroad
  3. Promoting the science and technology resources to strategic partners at home and abroad
  4. Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of plans and programs of cooperation activities

Duties of Culture Unit

  1. Preparing technical policies, plans, programs, and budgets for development, coaching, and cultural services within the scope of Universitas Trisakti.
  2. Carrying out development, guidance, and service in the field of culture along with monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the implementation of development, coaching, and cultural services within the scope of Universitas Trisakti.
  3. Responding to the challenges of global competition and the industrial revolution 4.0 related to the pandemic, MBKM, University ranking, Internationalization, etc.
  4. Serving as a door to get to know the culture of other nations so that they can appreciate their own culture.
  5. Realizing cooperation and institutional partnerships with potential international cultural and linguistic institutions.

 

Functions of Culture Unit

  1. Indonesian language training for students, lecturers, and education staff
  2. Training on academic writing, teaching methodology, etc. the lecturers at Universitas Trisakti.
  3. English-conversation training for instructors and lecturers.
  4. English workshop for students (English for job-seekers, How to write an interactive CV, etc.)
  5. Workshop for language lecturers at Universitas Trisakti and the general public with various topics related to the learning process of the foreign languages.
  6. Organizing Summer program/course activities for foreign and Indonesian students related to culture and language.
  7. Implementing various English tests for academics and the general public.
