Universitas Trisakti and BRIN signed a memorandum of understanding regarding “Increasing Capacity of Human Resource, Science, Technology and Higher Education” on November 22, 2023, at B.J Habibie BRIN Building, Jakarta.

Universitas Trisakti’s commitment to the advancement of science and technology in Indonesia continues to be improved. Now, Universitas Trisakti is one of the universities selected to collaborate with the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).

The official signing was carried out by the Deputy of Human Resource, Science and Technology, Edy Giri Rachman Putera, and Universitas Trisakti represented by Vice-Rector IV, Prof. Dr. drg. Tri Erri Astoeti, M.Kes. This collaboration signing was also attended by 23 universities from various regions in Indonesia. The same vision between BRIN and universities to produce superior human resources became the reason why this collaboration was created.

“BRIN and universities manage the human resources together. On campus, they manage students, and we are in BRIN to manage the researcher, students, and national. This thing who make BRIN and universities have the same way, to prepare the superior human resources for Indonesia Emas 2045,” said Edy.

This event was also attended by the Director of BRIN, Laksana Tri Handoko. In his briefing session, he emphasized the importance of research activity in forming a reliable researcher talent. “We will not be able to produce quality undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral graduates without them being involved in high-level research activities,”

On this opportunity, also held a discussion session with the theme “Talent Management of Research and Innovation: From Scouting to Maturing Research Talent”. In this session, all participants also can have discussions and question-answer about talent management to produce superior research human resources.
