Universitas Trisakti and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) signed an initial collaboration to strengthen education, research, and community service. Through this signing of collaborations, both parties aim to provide significant benefits.

The MoU signing was on the 11th floor of Building M, Universitas Trisakti, on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Present at the event was Vice Rector IV of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Drg. Tri Erri Astoeti M. Kes. who expressed her hope that this collaboration could produce activities that would benefit students, lecturers, and the general public. Mr. Josh Hart, the Senior Program Coordinator, also appreciates this collaboration and sees great potential in this collaboration.

The collaboration between Universitas Trisakti and IOM will involve various aspects of the Tridharma of higher education, including research and human resource development through training, seminars, workshops, and the Independent Campus Learning Program activities.

IOM is an organization under the auspices of the United Nations. IOM itself does not only deal with the issue of illegal immigrants but also covers immigrant issues in general, such as supporting migrant workers who work in other countries. IOM supports their safe travel and helps in preventing human trafficking.

By signing this collaboration, Universitas Trisakti and the International Organization for Migration showed their commitment to strengthening collaborations in education, research, and community service. The hope is that this collaboration will significantly improve education quality and contribute positively to society.
