INDONESIAN GLOBAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (IGIP)
The Indonesian Global Internship Program is the Government of Indonesia scholarship scheme to fund Indonesian students for internships at top companies and organizations overseas.
Undergraduate and applied bachelor/vocational students could spend one semester at the overseas company and organization partners to practice what they have learned in a real world, gain a better understanding of industries, companies and careers, innovate and get creative in solving problems, and experience work culture in different countries.
The scheme is centrally managed by Directorate General of Higher Education(DGHE), Ministry of Education and Culture (MoECRT) and is open for undergraduate and vocational students from all Indonesian higher education institutions under MoECRT.

ELIGIBILITY (STUDENTS):
- An Indonesian citizen (WNI) currently residing in Indonesia and do not have dual citizenship;
- In the 4th- 6th semester (for Undergraduate/D4) and the 4th semester (for Diploma 3) when apply;
- Never have taken college leave during their undergraduate/vocational study;
- Have a minimum GPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) proven by the latest academic transcript;
- Have adequate English proficiency with a minimum score of IELTS – 6.5, TOEFL iBT – 79, Duolingo English Test – 115*
- Nominated by the Vice Rector of Academic Affairs of your home university and obtain approval letter from the head of the study program;
- Not receive the living allowance from the other funding/scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and Indonesian Endowment Fund (Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan – LPDP) during the IGIP Program;
- Not participating in other Kampus Merdeka programs at the same time as the Indonesian Global Internship Program;
- Not take courses at home University during the program;
- Never have violated the rules, norms, and/or laws applied in Indonesia.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (STUDENTS):
- Recommendation letter signed by Head of Study Program on behalf of Vice Rector of Academic Affairs
- Valid English proficiency certificate IELTS (min score 6.5), TOEFL-iBT (min score 79), or Duolingo (min score 115)
- Official Academic transcript (in English)
- Clearance from Narcotic, Psychotropic, or other addictive substances from public health care or hospital
- Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK)
- Curriculum Vitae
- Absolute Statement of Responsibility sign by parents/guardians and scholarship recipients
- Video profile: 2-minute self-introduction describing applicant, skills, and motivation.
