Design thinking apporach can contribute significantly to enhance the outcome of three dimensions of learning, i.e.: cognitive, affective and psychomotor.

In the training, the participants were divided into ten breakout-rooms based on their area of specialties, in order to come up with some ideas of applying this design thinking approach into their teaching method. Maria then asked volunteers to present the results of their discussions. According to Maria the the results were beyond expectations where, most of them were creative and innovative by linking their area of expertise with design thinking method. Further Maria explained, from the messages written in the ‘Chat’ in Zoom, it was apparent that the lecturers seemed enthusiastic, happy and optimistic that design thinking can certainly help them teach more effectively and enhance students’ curiosity.
