- What expenses are covered by the scholarship?
The scholarship is fully funded, covering tuition fees, a monthly living stipend, a one-time settlement allowance, health insurance, and round-trip international airfare.
- Who is eligible to apply
- Age: Applicants must be no older than 21 for Bachelor’s programs, 35 for Master’s programs, and 40–45 for PhD programs.
- Language: Proof of English proficiency is required (TOEFL ITP of 477, TOEFL IBT of 53, IELTS of 5,5, TOEIC of 510 or equivalent qualification).
- Required documents: A valid passport, academic transcripts and diplomas, letters of recommendation (from the Indonesian Embassy and an employer or academic supervisor), and a medical certificate.

- Is knowledge of Indonesian required?
No prior Indonesian language skills are necessary; however, all students must complete a compulsory Indonesian Language (BIPA) program in their first year.
- How can I submit my application?
Applications must be completed and submitted online via the official KNB Scholarship website.
- Can I work part-time?
No. KNB Scholarship recipients are not permitted to work part-time, as the scholarship requires full-time commitment to academic study and related programs.
- When is the application period?
The application period usually opens early in the year, around February. Applicants are advised to apply at least 10 days before the deadline to avoid technical issues due to high traffic.
- What common errors should applicants avoid?
- Not meeting the age requirements.
- Failing to submit all required documents.
- Delaying submission until the final days of the application period.
